HELLO GUYS! I am BACK! With a January Favourites post! This last month I haven't bought too many new things as I am trying to save up for a car, which is actually quite hard considering I just want to go out and buy so many new things to try out after reading blog posts and watching YouTube Videos. But, I am getting there and I am pretty happy with the small amount of things I have bought. Most of the products that are featured in this post are mostly things that I got for Christmas or that I bought in the January sales. And to be honest, I didn't really find many things that I really liked or needed in the sales. Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Hand Food - The product says it's a non-greasy hydrating hand cream with Shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow with almond and sweet vanilla scent. First of all, this has to be the most amazing smelling hand cream ever! But then again, everything from Soap and Glory has the best scent ever known to man! (maybe a bit exaggerating.. but then again..) It pretty much has all of my favourite scents in it! And then second of all, it is 100% right when it says that it's a non-greasy, hydrating hand cream. I have always been let down by hand creams as everyone I tried just left my hands feeling a bit greasy and the product not really sinking into my skin very well, so I ended up on giving up using them and I haven't used one in over a year. But I received this in a Christmas set and decided to give it a go, and I was amazed! It smells amazing, sinks so quickly into your skin and leaves your hands feeling so moisturised.
Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub - Again, another amazing Soap & Glory product that I received in the Christmas set. I tried this product ages ago and then never ended up repurchasing (I think I was pretty stupid not to) and I have fallen in love with it all over again. It has a wonderful oat, Shea butter and maple scent with banana, almond and honey extracts. To be honest, I wish I could eat it! And I'm probably not the only one who wishes they could! It is such a great exfoliant and leaves your skin smelling so good and feeling ever so smooth. Definitely recommend if you haven't tried it!
O.P.I Nail Lacquer - Shade : Tickle My France-y - I love O.P.I nail varnishes and I particularly love this one. It's a gorgeous nude, mauvy/pink which is my favourite nail varnish shade!
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in 630 Seduction - This is a really gorgeous nude shade. The packaging really stood out for me when I saw it in the shops, I think the flat looking tube design is really pretty. The lipcolor does dry matte but it's not a full drying lipcolor, which I quite like because it doesn't dry out my lips or highlight too many of my dry patches, but this also means that it does slightly transfer when drinking or eating.
Sleek Eyeshadow Palette - The Rockstars Collection - Diamonds in the rough - This was actually the first sleek product I ever bought, and it was only a couple of months ago that I picked it up in Sephora. Living in France the only place I have seen sleek makeup is in Sephora and then they only have a few available products, mainly their eyeshadow palettes and blush/bronzer/highlighter sets. I picked this palette up because the colours were right up my street and ever since I bought it, I wear it pretty much everyday. Goldy/Bronze, shimmery eyeshadows are my favourite and I wear them on a daily basis. The pigmentation on these are great and they last very well during the day. The palette has 2 cream shadows (one white and one gold) and 4 shimmery, velvet shadows.
Kiko Design Flower Enriched Bronze in 01 Geometric Honey - Sadly you cannot pick this item up anymore. I picked it up in Kiko in the sales when they bring out all the old collection stocks they did not sell at the time. I love Kiko sales for that reason. If you missed a collection or couldn't pick up a specific product you wanted from a collection, then going to Kiko when the sales are on if the perfect place to go and get it, First of all this bronzer smells amazing. The scent reminds me of the Bourjois healthy mix range (which I absolutely love). Secondly I just love the payoff on my skin. It's not too pigmented that you end up looking like you put on your nans old foundation, but it has just the right amount to give you a lovely subtle bronze look. This bronzer is a warm tone bronzer so if you prefer cool toned ones this bronzer is definitely not for you.
Kiko Blush Cocoa Shock in 03 Adorable Pink and Peach - Again I picked up this duo blush in the sales and so I believe you cannot purchase this product anymore unless they bring it out again when the sales are next on. First of all can we just take a moment to look at how adorable the packaging is. It's like two little squares of chocolate, and I just think it looks so pretty when it's open too. These blushes smell so good, they smell like vanilla and chocolate powder, which is amazing! The blushes themselves aren't too pigmented again, which I prefer to a really pigmented one. I much prefer a lovely subtle blush, I'm not all about that rosy red cheek! I just think that these blushes look so pretty on the cheeks.
L'Oreal Skin Perfection Correcting Serum - I am in love with this serum. I always struggle to find great moisturisers and serums for my face as most of them don't seem to sink into my skin that great or leave my face feeling a bit oily.. But this serum is amazing. It sinks into my skin so well and quickly, leaving my face feeling so soft and smooth and it just makes my skin look healthier. I don't think my skin has ever felt this smooth before. I love it! I would definitely recommend trying it out, and the packaging again, like most of the products I have mentioned, it really pretty.
